SATC

When the hubby and I went to the movies the other day I got to see the trailer for the movie I have been absolutely DIEING for. March can't come quick enough!

Sex & the City Movie

So long 2007! Here's to 2008!

2007 has been a WONDERFUL year! It has been such a year of change and exciting times. We got engaged, had parties, had birthdays, and GOT HITCHED!! I can honestly say that 2007 has been my best year to date! But on to 2008. . .
Just like everyone else I'm making a few resolutions this year. Mine are as follows:
1. Project 365 - I am going to take a picture a day for the next 365 days. What a great way to document my life!
2. Faithfully partcipate on Spark People. This will REALLY help me in my goal to. . .
3. GET HEALTHY. I know everyone says this EVERY year but my goal is not to lose any certain amount of weight. Just to make a conserted effort every day to eat healthy.
4. End 2008 in a much better financial state than I am now.
So there it is. There are my goals. Anyone else making resolutions this year?
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Love is a battlefield

Ah, married life. The joining of two hearts and minds into one. And the joining of two people's stuff, baggage, attitudes, blah, blah, blah. When you have two people that have two very different opinions of how they should behave and what they should do, level of cleanliness, what is appropriate behavior, etc. . .well, it can get ugly. I felt that when I was getting married I had a very realistic idea of how things should be considering I have many friends and a sister that are married and they have all been very vocal about marriage and what is true and what is not. So I felt somewhat prepared to deal with the fact that we are two very different people with different ideas on how to deal with things. What I WASN'T prepared for was the fact that there is NO WHERE TO GO! That's right. I'm stuck. Having never lived together before we haven't had to experience this. But we are now. And my friends, this two bedroom at times feels like a very small square box. So the lessons in married life continue. Next week's lesson. . .I'm sure it will be interesting.

This just makes me pure happy

I must confess that I saw this on another blog and laughed so much I had to post it on mine.

What I Want For Christmas

Jump on the Bandwagon

As my good friends know I am what you would call a "bandwagon" girl. Meaning I find something that I like, LURVE, can't live without and I will sing it's praises far and wide. I will tell all my friends and suggest, no TELL them that they much own it. So in honor of my obsessiveness I've decided to start a little segment here on the 'ol blog called "Jump on the Bandwagon." Let us commence.

My first product that I'm going to sing the praises of is my new Schick Quattro razor for women. I got one for free on our honeymoon. Thanks Windsor Worldmark! I was actually on the hunt for a new razor. I've been using the Venus razors for about 20 years (okay that is a slight exageration but it's been a really, really, really long time.) and I was just over it. I just wasn't getting the quality shave that I wanted and as we girls know a good shave is very important! ANYWHOO, so I got my free razor, busted it open and AHHHHHHHHHH. Oh, beautiful smoothness and no nicks! So now I own two. (see what I mean about bandwagon?) I won't bore you with the tiny details of it's wonderfulness but it is really one of the best razors I've ever used! To quote the Schick website,
4 Synchronized Blades for an incredibly close shave. A Conditioning strip
enriched with Aloe and Vitamin E. Compact pivoting head to follow the contours
of your skin. Comfortable rubber grip designed specifically for how a man or
woman shaves.

So my friends, if you are out there searching for a wonderful new razor check out the Schick Quattro.

Keep checking back for new installments of Jump on the Bandwagon!

Pins and Needles

Okay, so I just got an email from my photographer asking me a question about our wedding album she is designing for us. Needless to say this has made me VERY excited to know that she is working on it! Makes me grin from ear to ear! Can't wait to see it! No rush Jen, but I'm totally ready to check it out! :-)

Broken Record

Don't you HATE when you get a stupid song stuck in your head and it just keeps playing that one part over and over AND OVER?!? I was blog stalking last night and stumbled upon a page that doesn't exist anymore but there was still a link. It was was "mymilkshakebringeth". And NOW all I keep hearing is "My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard and their like, it's better than yours". GRRRRRRRR. GET OUT OF MY HEAD.

That's all. You can go back to what you were doing now.

Twinkle, twinkle little lights

We got our tree!! Don't you just love our little tree? Complete with our crooked little star.

Hubby was giggling at me for most of the time. This will be his first experience of me at Christmas and in my family we go ALL out. I mean, as far out as you can get. We LUV Christmas. For example, I cleaned my house all day today. During that time I played Christmas music the entire time. I'm talking 6 hours of holly jollies. That's luv.

So the house is decorated, the gifts we have our wrapped and we are all ready to go. Our First Christmas. Say it all together now. . .Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Warm & Fuzzy

As I sit here in the glow of my Christmas lights coming from my first marital Christmas tree I feel all warm and fuzzy. My house is toasty and I'm enjoying a nice glass of Merlot with the hubby. Happy.

I'll post some pictures tomorrow of our Christmas home.

It's the most wonderful time of the year. . .

It's Christmas time at the BWildered's! We haven't gotten our tree yet but we are working on it!!

I just love this time of year. I've been listening to Christmas music for two weeks straight. There is something about this time of year. . .it gets crisp and cold, you feel like smiling more, you are plotting and planning. . . don't you just LOVE Christmas?!?

Just call me Suzy. . .

What is it about getting married that brings out the maternal-ness in us women? I know I'm not the first one to be like this because all of you have told me so! But I suddenly find the urge to bake and cook and clean and take care of the hubby.

So I decided to start by making bread. . .

And then it was on to cookies. And I just HAD to use my NEW VIKING MIXER! (thanks Uncle Richard, Aunt Jackie, Dennis, Killer Bee, Hunter and Bree) Well. . .(and don't laugh Michelle!) I screwed up to the beginning because I used the WHIP attachment instead of the mix attachment. But don't worry. All is well. I fixed it and even got 12 good cookies out of the thing!

Here's to getting better at being Suzy!!!

Tia

Today I miss my nieces. My Butterbean and Lovebug. There is something about the love of a child. And they aren't even MINE! When I walk into the room and they look and see me there and run at me yelling "TIA!" You can't replace that. So this is for my baby girls whom today I miss.

Music to my ears

When you get married there are so many things to adjust to. Living with someone for the first time really shows you things about them and yourself that maybe you were unaware of or unprepared for. One of those things is sleeping arrangements. Here's the music that put me to sleep the other night. Turn your volume way up! It's hard to hear!
