The Baking Continues

So this boring day continues. And so does the baking.

I stole this particular recipe off my pal Candy Jamamas (which by the way, if you lurkers are needing another blog to read she's got a good one! Oh and lurkers. Time for some more comments!)

Courtesy of my pal Michelle.

Michelle's Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 egg

1 TBSP vanilla extract

1 1/4 cup flour

3/4 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350.
  2. Cream butter, peanut butter & all sugars.

  3. Add egg, vanilla and mix well.

  4. In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients, then blend into the peanut butter mix.

  5. Shape into small balls (use your tablespoon), roll into sugar and place on cookie sheets. Flatten slightly with the bottom of a glass.

  6. Bake approxiametly 10 minutes or until cookies are set. Do not let them turn brown.

  7. Enjoy!

Yes, you may drool over my Viking blender .

I screwed up a little bit when I made these. I made the cookies too big and I forgot to roll in the sugar. They were still freaking awesome though and I think Hubby might eat them ALL tonight!
