My hot sister
My sister is forever complaining that she needs new pictures for her MySpace. So today I obliged her and we had an impromptu 15-minute photo session. Here she is! My SuperModelMom Sister.
Weekend with Butterbean, Bella & Lovebug
While the boys went fishing this weekend I got to hang out with my sister and her SIL and their beautiful little girls. We had a great time! It was a weekend full of Chick-fil-a, Enchanted, playgrounds and CUPCAKES!

We are pregnant!
NOT! Made you look!
We had a moment there. A moment where I thought we might be new parents. But then it passed. And I was sad. SAD? Weird. We weren't even trying.
What is it in us women (most of us girls anyway) that makes a hope for a child even when we shouldn't or couldn't ? We weren't trying for a babykins. We are waiting. We have a whole plan for it. But when I thought I MIGHT be preggo and then found out that I wasn't there was a little part of me that mourned. And when I thought I was there was a part of me that was thrilled. And terrified. One of my friends once told me that when you are trying for a baby you are all excited about it until if actually happens and then the terror sets in. But no terror for us this time. Just lots of relief and a little bit of mourning.

Hello LC Lover
I tried out a new recipe tonight. Even the Hubby loved it. Until I told him what it was of course and then he was supposedly disgusted (and yet had enough room for another huge piece.
Okay, back to the dinner. Cauliflower Lasagna. Don't gag. And don't roll your eyes at me. I saw that! I haven't told you my internet peeps that I have gone LC. Low carb that is. So I'm finding and trying all kinds of new recipes. So far they have all been REALLY good and I am having a love affair with cauliflower. I never liked it before but now I HEART it. I think it is because it is so versatile. It's like tofu. It just takes on the flavor of whatever you cook it with. I've made cauliflower mashed "potatoes", cauliflower as a pizza crust, cauliflower cheese bread and now cauliflower lasagna.
I stole my recipe from here (and by the way I LOVE this site. Super funny gal. We would be good friends outside this web life). So if you are so inclined check it. AND STOP GAGGING!!!
TV is coming back!!!
Can we please discuss my JOY at TV coming back? The Office on April 10th, Desperate Housewives on April 13th, Grey's Anatomy on April 24th. . .my life once again will be fufilled. Sad isn't it?

Wifey Does Easter
Our first marital Easter! Hubby had to work (of course! Stupid retail!) so it was just the two of us. Normally we are at my parents for the BIG EASTER HUNT AND LUNCH. Always a good time!
So we had a little Easter at our home. Wilder style.
Easter baskets a la me!
Hubby
Like I could go through a holiday without making cupcakes!
Our din-din.
My first ham.
All in all, we had a very nice me, the Hubby and the pooch.

Color me IRRITATED!
So we are without a 'puter (yes, I know you are asking, "Tell us dear, how are you writing this if you have NO COMPUTER?"). I'm at the library. Surrounded by teenagers. Fun. ANYWHO, we are without for a few days. So miss me. Tell me how much you love me and set my heart a fire with all the comments you will leave while I'm gone!

Unky's Birthday Cupcakes
It was Unky's birthday on March 5th and my present was to make him Blackberry Cabernet Chocolate Cupcakes. Can you say YUM? Also, can you say frustrating? These were totally made from scratch (a feat for this brand new Suzy Homemaker). I made them the night before the party and Hubby and I tasted one to see how they came out and were not impressed. As you can see from the pictures frosting is VERY soft. But is supposed to be according to the recipe, I just didn't expect it to be runny. But the night of the party they were much better (for some odd reason) and everybody loved them.
